The Lunar Rock I

The Lunar Rock I is one of three bespoke sculptures in the Lunar Rock Collection. Crafted with custom, one-use molds and assembled by hand, each mold is crafted using just wood, glue & cardboard.

This piece gets its colour from mineral pigments sourced in France and Spain and features exposed aggregate and braided detailing on all four sides. The middle of this sculpture exposes the product of months of uniquely mixed concrete batches that have formed layers of colour to create this rock-like shape. Once the rock has taken form, it is cracked open and inlayed into a bed of Lunar brown cement.

The Lunar Rock I is a one-off piece designed to hang on a wall or sit on a shelf. Each sculpture in this collection, while similar in colour and shape, is uniquely different in the minute details. 

This collection is shaped by constraint, proximity, and maximalism. Every Sculpture is under 4 inches in size and has been meticulously sanded and sealed. A certificate of authenticity is included with the purchase of every piece in this collection.
